Top Notch Carpentry Ltd. was founded in 1997 by Bill Topilko and it did not take long for Trevor to join his dad's team. Starting out in Bill's garage, they have grown Top Notch into a well-recognized and trusted organization. Over the last 25 years Top Notch has successfully completed thousands of projects in both residential and commercial spaces.

"We first saw their excellent work on hardwood floors and new windows at a friend’s house and were impressed. So when the time came (our house was built in 1972) for a kitchen remodel of cabinetry and countertops, we asked for a quote, which was reasonable, and the work was super! They use licensed plumbers, electricians and painters, so the results are professional. Since then every few years we have used them exclusively for renewal projects. In separate projects, they have redone closets and all interior doors, replaced our main floor with hardwood, and completely redone our basement, with new drywall, improved insulation, lighting and vinyl plank flooring, which we love! A few years ago, they pulled off our old siding, added foamboard insulation, and new vinyl siding. It looks great! Last year they tore down our deck and rebuilt it with pressure treated wood, cedar decking and a new gazebo, which we are very happy with! I don’t bother with other quotes anymore, as Top Notch has always quoted reasonably, and the final invoices present no surprises. If Trevor wishes to take a potential client on a tour, he has only to call me!
